It seems you are correct

The operational name however, was QT Optoelectronics.

The first SEC application to acquire QT Opto was made in 1995 and it was
completed around early 2000. In 2001 QT Optoelectronics Inc. formally became
"Fairchild Semiconductor - Optoelectronics Group".

In 2006 Everlight Electronic Co (Ltd) Taiwan acquired the opto business from
Fairchild.
