I'm probably the only one in the world with this problem:
I started my blog back in 2005, and when Blogger moved to Google, I
created my google account with my then current AOL e-mail. Recently,
however, I've moved my primary e-mail to Gmail, and have downloaded a
mail-checking widget. (Maybe this widget is part of the problem...?)
Anyhow, now whenever I go to the Blogger sign in page, it
automatically enters my Gmail address as my account name, and closes
the entry box so that I cannot change it. I click on the "sign in with
a different account" link, and it puts me back on the same page with
my Gmail address pre-entered.
So, then I click sign in, and I get taken to the error page, where I
can finally change my account name to the AOL address. Yeesh!
It would be great if I could either switch my account name to my new
Gmail address, or not have my Gmail account be pre-entered on the sign
in page. Or have a link that actually works to sign in with a
different account.
Another suggestion: When I post on someone else's blog, I am only
given one option for emailing follow-up comments to my primary account
e-mail. As I wrote below, I've switched from that account to Gmail,
and would love to be able to recieve notices of follow-up emails at my
current e-mail, since I rarely go to my AOL. I'm just lucky I'm not
locked out of that e-mail, I was locked out of one of my other e-mail
accounts when I cancelled their internet service.
