Subject: ICICI home loan rates

Hi All,

I have home loan from ICICI bank, they are charging me 13.5% but when I
called to customer care as I want to take home loan , whats interest rate?
they told 13%.. whats going on???

Members..
I want to pay back some of part of home loan, so should I wait for rate
cute? When rate cute is expected? I hear RBI cutting rates.. but I havent
seen any benefit of it.. or Its better to pay now at 13.5% ?

please need some guidance on this.

thanks in advance.
regards

This is a proven fact that PSU banks have responded more quickly to
reduce rates than any other private banks. If substantial principle is
still left, pls get your loan tranbsfer to any of the PSU banks. They
even response late to the rate hikes.

ICICI bank has reduced their rates and it will further fall in next 2-
3 months but still there would be a spread of 200 to 300 bps between
private banks and PSU banks.

I would advice switch to SBI or IDBI their interest rate would be in
the rage 10.5 to 11. I know one person got loan from IDBI at 10.75 but
his loan amount was more than 50 lakhs. If your loan amount is less
you might even get better rate.

HI Alkesh,

Me too have a home loan,
Anyway im looking other sources to close the icici loan.
As u can see all PSU banks are getting more bussiness and Private banks are
showing negative growth.
Recently all banks are reduced the interest rates while icici increased to
further 1%.

My 60month payment after paying 30month, when i checkm they says i need to
pay atleast 6more instalments (total 66month)
This was 2 months back. Now GOD knows it might went to 70instalments.

Dear friends, please share ur experience with icici bank...! and help us..

Regards,
dixon
